You need to whip it up, once cream is thawed.

Whipped cream , as the name suggests needs to be whipped stiff for icing. No need to add any sugar, as it is sweetened.

Butter Cream Icing

Butter cream Icing as the name suggests, is creamed butter and Icing sugar.

You can use salted or unsalted butter , it really does not matter.

You need to beat butter cream Icing very very well, to get a soft consistency.

Very little milk can be added.

Edible colour darkens during baking.

When tinting the icing, make 2 shades lighter in the beginning, as icing darkens with time.
